Seen above are our three border collies, Maggie, Pip & Tia. Collies make excellent companions, and ours are no exception though their characters are all different. Arguably the most intellegent of the canine species, collies are hardy and energetic, loving nothing better than a long walk or a game of football. Ours live outdoors all year round and anyone who might think that's a bit unkind should see them on a winter walk, with snow laying on the ground, diving into a freezing burn to cool off.

Our collies eagerly waiting for a ball to be thrown, just love football, and are anyone's for a game. Guests at Airds Farm are welcome to take our collies for a walk in the adjacent 6-acre glen, which is not used for livestock, or enjoy a game of football with them. All our collies are of a friendly and biddable character and are consequently safe with children.
