The Thistle Inn at Crossmichael is only a few minutes's drive or a twenty minute walk away. Excellent value meals are served most evenings (booking is not usually necessary except at busy times) by the resident chef Nicos who specialises in both traditional Scots and Greek cuisine. Real ale is served and there is an excellent selection of malt & blended Scotch whisky. You will find a friendly welcome from your host Jim McLellan and local villagers.
